A small local team with a big love for Mexico City.

I was born in Durango, in northern Mexico, and moved to Mexico City when I was five. Having lived here for most of my life, I consider it my home.

My background is in marketing and technology, and I work in website and application development. I built Taste & Time Traveler as a local project centered on thoughtful experiences and personal attention.

Today, I lead the management and coordination of the project, from reservations and communication with travelers to organizing each experience.

What I enjoy most about Mexico City is the personality of its neighborhoods: the markets, food, architecture, and customs. I also enjoy visiting Mexico’s Pueblos Mágicos and learning about the history, traditions, and local flavors that give each place its identity.

I was born and raised in Mexico City, so this city has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I participated in building Taste & Time Traveler from the beginning, exploring places, helping develop routes, and thinking carefully about the kind of experiences we wanted to share.

The city is huge and incredibly diverse, and there is always another neighborhood to explore, something new to try, or a different side of the city to discover. That variety is one of the things I enjoy most about living here.

As a guide, I try to offer the kind of service I would like to receive myself. I am patient, respectful, informative, and reliable. I want travelers to feel comfortable, ask questions, and experience the city at their own pace without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

I have lived my entire life in Mexico City, which has given me the opportunity to know it through both the study of its history and everyday life on its streets.

I am particularly interested in muralism, the historic center, colonial architecture, and the stories behind places connected to artists such as Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, and David Alfaro Siqueiros.

I also enjoy the city’s traditional neighborhoods and independent cultural scene — from Coyoacán and San Ángel to Roma, Condesa, and Santa María la Ribera. Independent bookstores, small cafés, street food, graphic art, music, and local cultural projects are all part of the city I enjoy sharing.

As a guide, I like putting places into context without making history feel like a lecture. I am approachable, patient, curious, and flexible, and I am always looking for historical or urban details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

I am originally from Oaxaca. I came to Mexico City to study at UNAM and have now lived here for more than twelve years. Over that time, the city has become an important part of my life.

I particularly enjoy experiencing Mexico City outdoors. I like cycling through the city and discovering new places, especially its parks, with Chapultepec being one of my favorites. I also enjoy museums, particularly the National Museum of Anthropology and the National Museum of Printmaking.

As a historian, I am naturally drawn to history and art, but I also enjoy experiences connected to nature. I like sharing different sides of Mexico — from museums and cultural heritage to parks, landscapes, and the natural world surrounding the city.

I am relaxed and easygoing as a guide. Outside of guiding, I enjoy climbing mountains and have climbed Iztaccíhuatl several times and explored Nevado de Toluca.
